We'll survive the desert

In the realm of small miracles, four of the guinea pigs belonging to the woman I posted about yesterday have been found alive and well. It's amazing they came through the storm and made it for two days outside - I've heard they huddled in fallen trees. Some of the rats were found too, and I just... it's tragic for the ones that were lost, but now there is closure, and there is some happiness.

In the realm of annoyances, however, I brilliantly switched shifts with Richard on the day when downtown is a total freaking mess. There's the Crazylegs Run, the Farmer's Market, and the Mifflin Street Block Party, which as far as I can tell is nothing but a bazillion college students getting drunk in the middle of the day in the middle of the road. Uuuuuggghhh. I will be out of downtown as soon as possible when this shift is over.

In the realm of things that are things, infinityduck's band had another show last night, and jou and I danced until late and today I am tired and I will never have time to clean my filthy, filthy house. And I had to start again on the TARDIS I'm making for help_japan, but it looks much better this time and hopefully I will finish it today so I can move onto other things. Like Kyuubeys and Sulus.
