But I went to the gym, cleaned out the super disgusting fridge at work, nearly went catatonic in a meeting with my boss where she just talked and talked and talked about her newest money-making venture that sounds (as usual) like a terrible idea, got to eat at a new dumpling restaurant, saw HP 7.2 and drank a rum and coke simultaneously (I am harcore), and gave a bachelorette party.
I was interested in people's reactions to the movie, particularly because for so many people, they talked about "growing up with the characters" and how it influenced a generation. And I don't feel that way at all - I was 15 when the first book came out, didn't even know it existed until I was 16, and never actually cared to read any of them until this past winter. Hell, the first movie came out when I was a freshman in college, and I couldn't have cared less because you know what else came out then? LORD OF THE FUCKING RINGS Y'ALLZ. And that's where my heart really lies, obviously. :F
But I did enjoy the books a great deal, and I liked the movie, although I spent the first hour trying to remember all the horcruxes and being irritated that I was missing one. I cried at the same part of the movie that I cried at reading the book, and other than that I was completely fine. Except for the Neville-appreciation, because he is a rocking dude and yay Neville/Luna, yay.
In the wake of this, I went looking for Neville/Luna fic, found almost none, and then took a sorting hat quiz from

It's not really surprising.
Your result for The Sorting Hat: A Comprehensive Harry Potter Personality Assessment [Test/Quiz]...
Gryffindor
49% Ravenclaw, 51% Hufflepuff, 41% Slytherin and 54% Gryffindor!
Gryffindor's cardinal traits are bravery, pride, stubbornness and impulsiveness. Most people in the house of Gryffindor will be extraverted. (Remember, introversion is different than being shy: you can be a shy extrovert.) Gryffindors gain energy and life by being around people, grain strength from friends and enjoy working with those close to them. However, they are also emotionally volatile and can experience a wide range of feelings in a short amount of time, from unbridled happiness to deep depression to unrestrained rage. They are less emotionally stable than some of the other houses (such as Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff); Gryffindors are also impulsive. They're also generally good-hearted and trusting, and for the most part like people at first sight unless they are given a reason not to. Gryffindors are Prideful, bad at taking criticism and easilyget into conflicts with others—this is the main trait that would bring their overall level of agreeableness from high to average.
A Gryffindor's prideful nature coupled with their sense of justice and stubborn behavior causes them to be extremely set in their ways. They have a difficult time backing down from a fight or admitting that they are wrong. It's also very hard for them to get over a bad first impression or change their opinion on someone.

So close to Hufflepuff. So close. No one cares about Hufflepuff. And I always kind of wanted to be Ravenclaw, but the fact is that I would be the kid who could never get into the common room because she can't solve any of the damn door riddles.
To be honest, though, my favorite part may have been the soundtrack. I really dug that. I will have to find a place from which to procure it for not so many dollars.
And yes, I did mention a bachelorette party. It was for

And then my parents came back from England and brought the pigs fabulous presents from Harrods and a stuffed "plague rat" for me. They know me so well.
Now it is Monday and I'm totally going to yoga this week. For real.
