I'm glad everyone else enjoyed the tornado, because my backyard is destroyed, my dad is manic, we have no power, and a tree branch went through one of our guestroom windows, leaving glass and leaves all over.

HA HA HA SUCKERS. Enjoy THAT.

So that was fun. Yeah, sure, it could have been a lot worse, but my dad and I both have the opposite of "surivor's guilt" and we both loved that yard for different reasons, and now it's fucked to shit. We'll never have shade again.

And my house is really dark and I can't use the internet. Don's house doesn't have power either, so we both whined about that and ended up walking through Research Park and his neighborhood, which I think got the worst damage.

It's a good thing I don't have deep-seated psychological weather fears anymore! HA HA HA.

I did get a Baby Shoggoth and Baby Nyarlothotep for less than I ought to because I played on the sympathy of a Pegasus Games employee.

We also considered going to see "HellBoy" to mock it ceaselessly, but then we failed.

So at least my yard has a lot of light now. TOO BAD MY HOUSE DOESN'T. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH-FUCK!

Happy Birthday Decken! I'm sorry I couldn't say it sooner, but I kinda forgot and I wasn't informed! LOVE.

Damn, I had no idea how bad it was over there (since I haven't really left the house)! That really sucks about your yard. I hope some of it can be saved or restored even if you can't get the shade back. It is a really cool yard.

Hopefully I'll be able to see you soon since the end of translation hell is in sight. Leaving for Osaka is also somewhat in sight...this is the summer that would not let up.

yeah, I didn't enjoy the storm...I liked the neighborhood across mineral point road just the way it was..with lots and lots of trees. it looks way too weird now and I don't like it. it's really not cool that you had damage too...and it's slightly odd because, from the little I heard about my uncle's house from my uncle (he doesn't live there anymore...my cousins don't let him), nothing really happened there. and they live all of a few blocks away from you. well, I really only live all of a few blocks away from don's and so forth so yeah.... I'm sorry you got hit >
