I enjoy medieval history, like everyone, and post-World War II, which is ridiculously popular and I know it's unoriginal too.:F I tried to deny my feelings for it when I majored in Japanese History in college, and focus on the Meiji Era, but uh... yeah. Eventually I caved.
Technically, right now, it's the intersection of Japanese and American history beginning immediately after VJ Day. I think it's such an interesting relationship.
