A weekend of things.

Attempted to help Don buy garden things on Saturday, and failed, but then I watched him play Silent Hill 2 for a little while, which was productive and interesting! Bob, I saw Triangle Head! Hooray!

Yesterday I had a work meeting, and got some more free movie type things. One of them is a Korean horror movie called "The Wishing Stairs," which I'd actually been thinking about renting, so that was neat-ish.

In keeping with a horror theme, Corin and I watched two horrific movies, "Uncle Sam" and "Make a Wish," which were about how you can only desecrate the flag if you use it to kill someone and how lesbians camping are creepy freakish weirdo bitches respectively. We did also watch "Grosse Pointe Blank," which is a good movie, and very much enjoyed. I think I will put it on my list for Staff Picks.

Before Corin appeared, I spent much of yesterday afternoon reading "The Amber Spyglass," and I'm more than halfway through.

I had thought Lyra's betrayal was Roger, but I guess that's what you're supposed to think. I got all teary and so horribly, horribly sad when she had to leave Pan behind. I haven't gotten past the part where they get out of the Land of the Dead, so I have no idea if she'll ever seen him again.

I got teary when Lee and Hester died too, but this was worse. I never thought it would happen...

Also, I've wanted to say this for a long time - Is it just me, or is Lord Asriel full of hot?

I will say much more when I've finished!

The Oldboy Soundtrack downloaded today and I am most thrilled, as it is awesome and amazing. But fuck, I wish I understood Korean.

Going to the fabric store and potentially to look for a Michael shirt and try to find something close to Al, and then... then I will return.

Oh, the returning that shall be done!
