If I can't go to Kyoto because of SARS, I'm going to be so upset.

I still have no idea for my Korea final paper, if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Also, I have to write an X-Files episode for my class...if anyone has any ideas for that, please also let me know. MY CREATIVE IMPULSES ARE NAPPING AND I NEED HELP!!!

This weekend is going to be so busy and there is no way in hell that I can't spend most of it doing research on Korea. Bleagh.

At least...at least...ACEN IS LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY. OH NO, THE DEADLINES APPROACH SO QUICKLY AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

And YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY CHENYA, WHO INTENDS TO COME TO OBERLIN! WE'LL HAVE AN AWESOME TIME WHEN I COME BACK! We could even take all the same classes...heh heh heh heh heeeeeehhh...

Tonight I can romp freely through grain again. ROCK!

Kenko's in fact in the Grinnell Admissions office right now. Hmmmm Grinnell. Hnnnnnn Grinnell. They ARE in bonny green (brown) Iowa, so I'd be sure of a whole lotta excitement. More excitement than Buttfuck, OH!

I'm only kidding, of course. Our tour guide wasn't half as good as you because SHE DID NOT WALK BACKWARDS! It was so disorienting. Also the lack of door-opening was kinda a turn off.

Wow they made you send a ridiculous number of passport photos too!? I think I needed 14 too... and the sizes were all in centimeters (like 3.4x5.7 or something) and the ruler in the copy shop where I copied thinss only had inches rulers, so I was just like 'fuck you Japan!' and cut them in varying sizes.

Is SARS even in Japan? All the trips to China/Hong Kong got cancelled at my school and on the nation-wide program thingy that was coordinating them. Sucks to be them.

I'd help with the Korean paper, cept that my four years as an East Asian Languages and Cultures major has taught me NOTHING about Korea. USC sucks ass.

And the X-Files... is that just like... an episode... about anything? That's kinda vague. : /

Chenya, you totally don't want to go to Grinnell. Nope nope nope.

And yeah, 14 pictures was absolutely ridiculous. They did send us a little sheet with examples of how big stuff needed to be, so I cut them out and traced them. I don't even have a ruler! :(

They called everyone who was on programs in China back because of SARS. I keep hearing different things about how it is in Japan. I guess it's a good sign that they didn't call back the kids who are in Kyoto now... I just hope things stay okay.

And the X-Files episode can be about anything. ANYTHING!!!...I have no idea!
