Though it has been descretated by its use in a "look it's your ex-boyfriend turned inexplicably stripper-tastic" fic, I've found myself in a "Lover, You Should Have Come Over" mood, which reminds me of Oberlin, the light in my apartment, and talking to western_ink until very, very early in the morning.

kaltia: Sorry about running off on you earlier, my cramps snuck up on me and I was just about doubled over on my bed. I didn't want to leave you but I thought things might end badly (not quite sure how, but some manner of badly...) if didn't take massive amounts of ibuprofen and lay down before my insides punched their way out. :( And then I fell asleep until I had to go to work. I suck.

Did the usual Monday thing. Started to fall asleep in my seminar, fought it off, spent the last half and hour wondering how I could possibly leave the room to use the facilities without being noticed, failed... Had lunch with monkeybobert and drove her home, where she rewarded me with all the best Veronica/Logan scenes from the first season.

We're getting VM in at work, and I'm really psyched. Also tonight I got to talk to someone about FMA. He seemed genuinely interested in the series, and even moreso after I told him "Ed doesn't have his limbs because he and Al committed a sin against God." Finally caught up on the manga too (love to my emu kid). HOLY SHIT, is all I have to say. Reminds me that I have to buy a replacement book 11 at Kinokuniya in New York next week.

And by the way, how is NEXT WEEK Thanksgiving?! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN. Tomorrow I have to call every school that I moronically assumed had an online grad application and request a real one ASAP. Go me, way to wait until the last minute, wacko.

I'm getting back into a writing mood, so I really will get some Zuu stuff done this week, and ideally some drabbles too. Must resist urge to make this song into something for FMA as well as RK.

Anyway, the whole point of this entry (yes, really, read between the lines) is that this song is amazing, and if it does nothing for you, check your pulse. ...although admittedly it took a long time for it to grow on me, so maybe...check your pulse at regular intervals over a few weeks.

You should do that anyway. :)

And yeah, that song is addictive as hell. At first I didn't really like it, but then I burned it to a CD so I'd have music while I was staying with relatives, and now it's turned into one of those songs that I can have on repeat all day and not get annoyed with.

Will definitely download that song when I'm on my normal computer... I don't want to take it multiple times because that would be evil and things.
