maypirateI finally saw Sorcerer Hunters. I watched two episodes last night, and then Don came over and watched the other 5 on the disc with me. I think it's a lot of fun, and it has an art style that I would hazard to say is my favorite kind in all of anime..it's very similar to Slayers, and it's always been the kind I'm more drawn to. As far as other aspects of the series, the music (aside from the opening and closing themes) isn't so great and the plot isn't as good as Slayers, but I do like it, and I intend to watch the rest of it. I really like Chocolate Misu's um...outfit. I think it's sexy hot, yo. So yeah, that's that.
My mom and I baked cookies yesterday, and I talked to Rebecca, and then Don, Joel, David and Ryan and I watched my Battle Royale DVD. It was the director's cut, and I found I kinda liked the non-director's cut better...but this was the only DVD in my region on something. Whatever. Otherwise it was the same version I've always seen - the subtitles are pretty good but every now and then something wonky shows up. Part of the director's cut had these three "Reqiuems" at the end, and the last one...they totally stopped trying on the translation. It was ridiculous. "Anyone who sees us will think this is scribble." WHAT?!?!?!?! Okay.
And I went back to my kitchen bitchery. It gets easier every time, but I'm still going to try to get a job at Wasabi.
And...uhhhh...yeah. I think we need to get started on our graduation project and we might make smoothies on Friday. I've become obsessed with cooking. Bob and I were practically salivating with...um...salivatory goodness when we were in William-Sonoma the other day, and Don and I were reading a Gourmet magazine together. Mmmm...cooking....
So that's my world.

I'm not sure if I was taking this test and trying to answer like Don might answer for me or what, but I think it's interesting that I got his favorite girl.
I got Ryouga for the boyfriend one.
I'm gonna go see if I can find a Sorcercer Hunters wallscroll somewhere.
