The other night I burned myself on Don's oven - just one of those instantaneous touches of the back of your hand to one of the metal bars that sears your skin off like WOW fast.

Anyway, so I have this gross thing on my hand now, and this morning it looked kind of like a blister and
..and I really, really wanted to poke at it or pick it or something because it was all puffy and I was like "I wonder if it would OOZE!" because I'm the sort of moron that always tears blisters off even though you're not supposed to and then wonders why the hell it stings so much.

But I was good and I put a bandaid on it and now it seems to have de-oozed itself on its own.

I think I spent too much time rubber-necking in the burn unit or something when I worked at the hospital. Except I didn't go there very much and it always involved dressing up in so many gowns...

I need to locate sugar_in, because I have some ideas. We were going to start a comm for movie/book/music recommendations, based off my original idea to have a movie comm alone. Because I'm spending the day doing physical inventory and finding a bunch of stuff I want to watch, I was thinking of making two comms, then: a rec comm, and one called "Video Slave" which would solely orbit around the visual medium, or something like that. sugar_in and I were going to mod the first one, but would anyone like to help me with the second? Or even be interested in joining/reading either of these?

And since certain people *coughcough*liete*coughcough* have been bugging me about birthday presents, I went and found something else I want, so now my list has three things!

Please not that all of these are MOVIES and I could get them from my store but oh man, it's all I could think of, I'm that lame. ;_; I also like fuzzy toys.
