Wait just a goddamn minute.
Mar. 24th, 2003 09:21 amThis is to someone whose livejournal I've read everyday for a long time, who I used to consider a kind of pseudo-online friend in my active online-community days. I don't think she will read this, but her diatribe on the failings of Michael Moore and Clinton pissed me off.
I'm sorry, I don't think he was saying that certain September events were ficticious. I'm sorry, I think that he was saying that this war, although perhaps incited by that, has its roots in many other places too, undoubtedly also in the idea to catch the man that daddy president didn't.
Have you looked at the news? Have you looked at the world? THIS IS NOT THE DELIVERY OF JUSTICE THAT WE ASKED FOR. The men behind Sept. 11 must be captured and brought to the scrutiny of the world, there is no question, but WE DIDN'T ASK FOR IT TO BE DONE LIKE THIS.
And oh, I'm sorry again, but you know what, the bad man is not dealing with problems left behind by Clinton. He has created his own, sending American troops to die in a war that has left us with little world support, alienating North Korea in one of the lousiest shows of diplomacy in recent years, and cutting us off from MOST OF THE REST OF THE WORLD.
I think you, ma'am, are not informed, and I am sorry to know that you support this disaster.
Dammit.
I'm so mad.
