Since getting home, I've felt more and more like spending time away from the computer. It's a very strange feeling...I guess because almost all of the people I talked to with the computer are near me. But I do miss people from school, and I should check my Oberlin e-mail account. And I should install AIM, but....I dunno... I forgot my AKP friend Andy's name, and that's uncool. Maybe David knows. I should call him. And Matt.
BUT DON'T THINK I HAVEN'T BEEN BUSY.
Cuz I have.
Really.
I've been doing a whole lot of reading. In the mornings or afternoons when I used to do computer things I've been reading. Plowed through a lot of stuff too. It started with Alice Seybold's "Lucky" that I read in one afternoon, and then it made me want to look through "The Lovely Bones" again, and I practically reread it...
What else....
"Dr.Tatiana's Sex Advice to All Creation" - stop looking at me like that. It was mostly a book about biology and the copulatory habits of different animals. It was fun. It was written like an advice column. "Dear Dr. Tatiana - I am a praying mantis..."
"The Da Vinci Code" - not the most brilliant prose that I've read by far, but it was very, very clever. I couldn't put it down.
I just finished "Battle Royale" the other day. It was in many ways very different from the movie. And much sadder, because you know some of the characters better. And the deaths are more drawn out. WAAAAHHHH, I wanted Mimura and Yutaka to escape, but I knew they wouldn't and it made me so sad...
Anyway, yeah. I guess that's not as much as I thought, but it's been really nice to just chill and read. I'm still working at the hospital, but it's not as hellish now... I applied to be a hostess at Wasabi, but I don't know how that'll go down. I'd rather not work at the hospital, but...it's a job, and it pays.
I'm still hoping Don and I can go to California.
And Don and Joel got me addicted to the PS2 game "Amplitude" and to the second season of the show "24." Dammit! Stupid jerks......
..okay, not really...
Sunday is graduation, and we have plans, and then Mr. Dean's retirement party...
And my grandfather is coming to town tomorrow, and Megan is here until Tuesday before she spends the rest of the summer in DC!
So much to do, so much to learn!!!!!
Oh, and just so you know:

Which OS are You?
I like this one. It makes me feel smart. It makes me think about my future laptop and wonder what I should name it and what it's theme should be.
Rock, anyway, this is long, and I have a world to frolic in.
