Neko ni koban

I owatta bakari`d my first Japanese test. It may have gone decently. At least I knew all the kanji. That`s something, right?

I`m reading CLAMP`s new thingy, `Tsubasa` which is actually just a mishmash of their other stuff. But I like it anyway. I`ve been trying just to trample through it without bothering to look up most of the words I don`t know. Because I can.

This weekend I did things with Japanese people and ate pizza, and then went to Otsu (Otsu Otsu Otsu...) on Sunday with my host dad. It was pretty neat and I took a lot of pictures of Lake Biwa. Surprise, my family does in fact have a car, albeit an old one.

I have presents for people and letters to write.

I got a letter from Beth and a postcard of Haggis from Megan.

I want to go to Oberlin and play with people, and Mr. Donut is my god king.

I tried to weigh myself the other day, but the goddamn scale was in kg. What the fuck?! Stupid metric system...
