Jun. 20th, 2005 12:21 amMy mom has accidentally trained Oni to beg for treats whenever she comes into the room. So now she likes my mom best, and runs away whenever my dad and I come in. Which she did before, but now it stings because she plays favorites.
Gave my dad a card with stick figures on it for Father's Day. I tried to draw him but he kept coming out looking like Fu Manchu's evil graduate student son.
"Howl" was a total bummer from my POV. I tried not to expect anything from the book but I was so disappointed, especially since the book actually made me laugh out loud, which is always a good sign for something. The movie seemed so disjointed. It wasn't as visually beautiful as "Spirited Away" or as compelling a story as "Mononoke Hime." And they took ten years off my favorite character and ruined him. Howl himself was very beautiful, though, and exactly how I pictured him. Except when he had black hair, because that was too much like Haku.
Aaaaand...felt like there was something else I was going to say, then POOF, away it went.
Been wrestling with iTunes, zip files, and yousendit.com to send Sephiress some Weezer songs, but so far I have failed. I'm throwing in the towel for tonight, but I WILL RETURN.
I've committed myself to going on a walk with my mom at 6 am, so I should probably skeek off to sleep.
