Why is it that like, once a week I undergo a revelation of epic proportions about how FUCKING AMAZING X-FILES IS?
The show has been over for 5 YEARS. And yet it just takes a little bit of conversation with people in CoE about it and I'm all "OH MY GOD X-FILES!!?!?!?!!2$324/2" as if it were news to me and I didn't spend hours piling X-Files on![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Why yes, this IS a gratuituos X-Files post. But goddamn it, I just came back to an empty house in Stupidsville and Season 6 has been valiantly keeping me company.
It seems somehow illogical to take so much joy in this thing that's been a part of me for so many years, but god damn. Especially after a day when I was calling fandom into question, it's such goodness to look at X-Files and know that it's brought me nothing but pure, unadultered happiness all this time. I don't know how to quit you, X-Files, and I never want to learn.
IF YOU HAVE EVER LOVED X-FILES OR NOT LOVED X-FILES OR REMEMBER THAT THERE WAS A SHOW CALLED X-FILES OR EVEN KNOW THAT THERE IS A LETTER THAT IS "X" COME TALK TO ME ABOUT IT! OH MY GOD THE TRUTH IS *STILL* OUT THERE!!
