maypirate: (Mulder Scully WHOA stare)
In the end, I managed to save the first 6 volumes of Kenshin for the time being, but I did ultimately take Slayers NEXT home with me. We still have the first season, so that's something, and also I decided that if no one else is going to cherish it properly, who better than me to make sure it gets a good home? Also I have plans to put it down on the request list in a month or two, just to be a jerk. :F

Last night, without even having seen my clever prompt on LJ, [livejournal.com profile] infinityduck made me pizza for dinner (and not frozen pizza, like pre-made crust and some assembly required pizza) which was very good and sweet. He also dug out my X-Files season 1 DVDs and has started watching them one by one, so I joined him for that, which was a total trip and somewhat terrifying. Man, a lot of those first episodes were really lame. O.o Thank goodness they let it keep going to where it could become a wonder. It's also very funny at the beginning where they were clearly trying to indicate that Mulder and Scully (or at least Scully) had lives outside of the X-Files. Wow, that sure didn't work. :F

Right now I'm at work eating a cheese sandwich made of huge squishy Japanbread and drinking not-Kirin brand milk tea and I'm very cold. It's pretty and sunny out but chilly, so I can't open the back door to let the light in and my job gngndsn uhhh everything is hard.

And wank on my guinea pig community is hilarious because it's a guinea pig community and it's basically one person whining about the mods and then lots of pointing and laughing by everyone else. And macros, of course, of which this is my current favorite.

I need to book my flights to Virginny and call Wendy so I have somewhere to stay. And also enact secret plans.
