Nurse Big-eyes

To those it may amuse, hubris caught up with me yesterday as not long after I made my "HA HA STAR TREK DVD IS MINE" post, I started to feel pretty darn lousy and spent an hour curled up under my coat in back. So there was that. Feel free to point and laugh.

Not that I didn't proceed to go to infinityduck's and watch it, though. :p And also eat soup. homoshiroi came along and had pretty much the greatest reaction ever to the appearance of Spock Prime, which was to shout "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" at the screen. She liked Chekov (the Russian twinkiness of whom I had promised so long ago) and we watch special features and my new favorite character is Ayel. By which I mean, he's not, but I sure do like him for some reason, all three minutes of him in the movie. I always have a soft spot for bad guys.

I will have a pretty summary of Neko coming one of these days, along with a few pictures and then some of the buttons I made. Because I like continuity in my LJ.

And today is one year since I adopted Nicky and Olivia. This evening I'm going to clean their cage and give them some treats, and hopefully at some point this weekend buy them some new toys. I haven't stopped missing Oni, but they were never meant to replace her. They are their own beautiful little selves and I love them very much.
