Like a pizza left in a hen house
Dec. 20th, 2010 10:45 amLately whenever I cook with garlic, my hands absorb the smell so strongly that even if I hold them out in front of me I can still smell it for and it lasts for at least a day, sometimes more and akjdhfskdhgsk I am in that vicious garlic cycle right now and there are many many hours between me and baking soda. Uuggghgh.
New car and I are doing well - it handled the snowstorm from the weekend before last very well and so far I've managed to not scrape it along the side of my garage. I even managed to drive through the intersection where I had the accident and not scream in terror the whole way. Small victories.
The next few days are going to be stupidly busy and I dumbly agreed to switch shifts with Richard on Wednesday which means I'll be working 1-9 and pretty much destroys that day, and then I have to get up around 3 am on Thursday to get to the airport, as I am spending Christmas in Nashville this year (and that will be fun and relaxing and once I'm at the airport I will be calm and peaceful, I just wish I'd gotten a later flight). I have not finished my shopping, written a single winter card, and I have no time. And after the holidays I am going to have to learn how to seriously budget. Awesome!
Also I am incredibly tired and cold and still hurt from sneezing a million times during Saturday's sudden allergy attack. But I don't live in North Koreaaaaaaaa.
In conclusion, Monday. Bluh.
