I saw fireworks from the freeway
Jun. 28th, 2003 10:05 amYesterday we went to Lawrence to show Moryah a small school, and I had a whole lot of problems with the tour guide. I guess I don't need to list them all here, but I was very unimpressed with her presentation, and I would not grade her well. Moryah didn't like her either. But she wants to play Division 1 soccer and that's a Division 3 school, so it's not like it was in the running anyway.
We're supposed to go to State St. today, and it's raining! WHAT ABOUT MY FIREWORKS?!?!?!? The website says that the rain is supposed to stop by noon, but...uhhhh.... yeah.... I guess there's a rain date tomorrow, so we all could go then, but... I mean, I guess we should get some tarps and shit and go along with our plans for tonight, because the site said it was still go. I wish someone else was up so we could talk about this...
I bought the pattern we thought might work for the cute hats. Mmm...cute hats..
I took that one test that Bob and Mink took, and it was pretty interesting. Apparently 93% of men are attracted to me (that's both very attracted and pretty attracted) and I guess I knew that due to all the incidents in my life which have...uh...occurred. I'M NOT BRAGGING. It's been more tragic than good. Y'allz know about that, doncha? Doncha?
Anyway, I have a keeboo.
And a keeboo-in-law!
Mink threatened to make me read Harry Potter. I don't know what that means for me. I feel scared. And reading someone's LJ, I suddenly realized something that will happen if it hasn't already: SLAYERS CHARACTERS PUT IN A HARRY POTTER SETTING. OH G-D!!! OH G-D WHY MUST THIS OCCUR?!?!?!?! Because you know, it's about magic, so Lina would be Harry, I assume, and...eeughskgns,dg,.... I don't want to think about it. I've lost my desire to read almost all Slayers fanfiction except for what Pairaka writes simply because: 1)I've read it before, or seen it done before and it's not good, or I'm not interested or 2) It's not written well or it's OOC or 3)It just sucks.
Anyway... Pairaka! I had another dream where we got to meet! And you weren't some blonde woman who ran away from me this time! It was nice. I liked that. The rest of my dreams were on crack, though.
I'm reading Jackie Chan's autobiography, cuz it was only $5 at Frugal Muse Etc. It's fun.
Lotsa rain. LOTS OF RAIN.
Wup.
