Apparently sleeping in my BDS sweatshirt is dangerously comfortable because I couldn't get out of bed until 7:26 this morning. Why I am sleeping in a sweatshirt in the summer? None can say.

Also, Oni has been in a bad mood lately, and doesn't seem to want to eat her food, or at least none of the vegetables specially alotted for her cuteness. I'm really starting to worry. I'm going to take her to the vet later this week. My poor baby.

And I got this comment over on thegrandline: HI HI HI !!! WTF?! here i was ready for some lovely fluffy smut, like ur previous ones, but noooooooooo ...i'm from Israel, there's like a war here! i need the smut!

Um? Apparently I and my BDS smut are the only things that stand between despair and the Israeli people. I know that's like, "my nation," and everything, but I'm not quite sure what to make of this. Amused, sure, but mildly daunted and uh...yeah. Israel, you'll get your smut when I get my automatic citizenship! BRING IT.

YES I DO. I get into Chicago a little before 2, I think. My mom said if I'm quick I should be able to catch the 2 Van Galder bus back to Madison. I have big plans that involve Soy Cream at the Chocolate Shoppe on State Street, weather and my consciousness permitting. I'm leaving Dublin in the morning and getting to Madison in the afternoon so I think I'll be totally fine and dandy.

And Jasper Fforde will be at Booked for Murder at 6pm that night. Or in Milwaukee the next day, I think. Which might work better for me, depending on what day it is, since I think the 10th is a Saturday and I would be working, but I could possibly get a Sunday off.

Cool, cool. I hear authors go out with people fairly frequently on book tours. And with my having been to/going to go to school in Wales, we should have a bit of an in. If we can work up the courage to talk to him. And Sardine is delicious. Though if we go too late or with too big a party, my co-workers might kill us.

Well, we can see what we manage. His new book comes out on the third, so I figure I'll pick up a copy for each of us before then so we can get them signed and not look like pricks.
