I LET MY PARENTS OUT OF MY SIGHT FOR TWO WEEKS AND THEY GO AND BREAK MY MOM.
So my dad called at 9:40 this morning and woke me up, first time I've spoken to them in a few days.
My mom apparently slipped while they were hiking in New Mexico in 100 degree, and DONE BENT HER FOOT SIDEWAYS. Which is to say, she dislocated her ankle and her shoulder, may have some broken bones in her leg and need surgery, and they were helped by passing Malaysian students, and it took them three hours to get her out of the canyon and now she's in Monticello, Utah (UTAH!?!?), in a hospital and she has an IV and the doctors said she has a high pain tolerance, and that makes me proud, and she was really cheerful and talking about how the rescue person that helped her was admiring her pedicure (I wonder if my mom is on morphine, she seemed really perky) but fuck! My MOM!
So they're coming home early, once they can figure out, well...how.
TONY. They may be leaving from Albequerque or however you spell the name of that crazy city you live in, and I said you live there. Would it be okay if I gave them your cell if they need to you know, sit in a van and eat brussel sprouts or talk about how his name is Morty Jones?
BAH! My PARENTS! SHEESH WHY ARE THEY SO RECKLESS?!?!?! ;_;

You know, my boss broke his leg when he went on vacation a few weeks back. This is a frightening trend.
