God today was lame, and I have an awesome toothache which is going to be fabulous for the next few days I'm sure. Fuck, ow. And a doctor made my mommy cry to today, which is not cool, and something bit my ankle and it was itchy so I scratched it and I scratched the skin off and it got stingy and it's right where the strap of my sandal hits my foot and it sucks and I'm so tired, and ow ow ow!

So, with a little under three hours before kleptoneko picks me up to take me to the airport, and with my bags not entirely packed, my bed unmade, and uhhh...other stuff... not done, I've decided to do something totally counterintuitive!

Alkaline Trio is a band Don introduced me to before we started going out or were even considering it. Their songs are pretty self explanatory and follow a small range of themes: I'm so drunk/I'm so fucking hurt/I love you/I hate you/Did I mention I'm really drunk?

That being said, however, the way they sing it is raw and gritty and terminally hot. They are simultaneously gorgeous and angry, and their song "Radio" from "Maybe I'll Catch Fire" is my ultimate rage song; driving to it when I am deeply upset never fails to make me feel a little better. There's also a line from another song of theirs hidden in my fic "Pavlov." I'll post that song when I get back and see if anyone can find it.

Don gave me this for Valentine's Day, which I find hilarious and awesome.

nymeria and cryogenia, if they feels like it, are in control of my LJ during my stay at Otakon and may do whatever they please with it, as long as it doesn't end up in accusations of me running scams on fm_a.
