-TRUE POWER, I mean REAL ULTIMATE ABSOLUTELY CORRUPTING POWER, is being able to walk across campus and watch/listen to BDS on the MP3 device donburi gave me for Christmas. Like I couldn't stop smiling. I wanted to attack random students and be like "WHAT HAVE I GOT IN MY POCKET?!?!?!?!?"

And my answer would almost have been as good as The One Ring. Which would also be about as corrupting as having BDS in my pocket.

...does this mean that BDS is like unto The One Ring? O.O I must think on't. This could be even more awesome than I thought.

-I FUCKING HATE the word/concept "exceptionalism." Definition: "The theory or belief that something, especially a nation, does not conform to a pattern or norm." OMFGORLY?!?!?! What a concept! How original and intellectually challenging. Nations don't follow a pattern? WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK'D IT?!

I am so not looking forward to discussing it in class tonight. I think I will draw myself wearing a series of interesting hats.

Don says I'm not supposed to hate things so much but I think it's okay if I hate bullshit "intellectual" thought that sucks and is dumb. Right?
