Because I want to, and because I can, I ganked this from
jou and
theregaltigress because I felt like seeing if I could come up with random facts about me that people who aren't the Homecrew might not know.
1. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
2. Tag seven people to do the same. No.
3. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag whoever wants to do it.
1. I hate hate hate washing dirty dishes with a sponge. I just hate it. I think it's gross and I won't do it. I like to use a scrubby brush. Note to self: purchase scrubby brush today.
2. Over the past five years, I've tried 6 different medications for my anxiety/OCD/depression. The jury is still out on the current one.
3. House is quickly becoming, like X-Files and Veronica Mars, a show I can watch over and over again ad infinitum. I expect its watching-ness levels to surpass VM very soon.
4. And speaking of House, my favorite episodes are, weirdly, not ones that primarily focus on Chase, but are season two's "Clueless" and season three's "Son of Coma Guy."
5. I used to be an assistant instructor at my karate school, which was terrifying because it meant dealing with children for 2.5 hours every Thursday, and as we all know, children scare the crap out of me (and collectively smell like damp cereal). Some of them were awesome, but some of them were total little shits and I had to be a good role model, but they'd be steppin' and I wanted to remind them that as cool as they thought they were, I could still kick them into the wall with little to no effort. Which is probably why I liked helping out on sparring days best, because then I got to hit little kids and not get in trouble. :)
6. I can't eat oatmeal. Part of it has to do with the horrors of working in a hospital kitchen at 5 am, and the other part is that it was one of the first things I ate after I got my wisdom teeth out. And I didn't get sick when I had my teeth out, nor was I in a lot of pain, so I don't really get it, but the mere thought of consuming it now makes me want to gag.
7. When I was seven, I was totally and utterly in love with France. I wanted to learn French and go to Paris, and my dad promised me we'd go after my Bat Mitzvah. I took French for about five years, too, although it was very remedial. Now I hate France. HOW THE TIMES, THEY ARE CHANGED.
And HEY
sake_butterfly and
domminess and
saber_rider! I got this off an Asuka forum last night and it made me laugh and I thought y'allz (and anyone who ever watched "Freakazoid") would appreciate it. Sorry about the poor quality, I was trying to resize it and messed up.
Luckily Ollie isn't around or he might say "Candlejack" and I'd ge
