Blaw blaw blaw is about all I generally have to say, so I keep not updating in the hopes that something terribly interesting will befall me but then nothing really does. I also have no ability to make decisions, creative or otherwise. Case in point: tomorrow is my 25th birthday. What do I want? I dunno, my brain to be rewired? ...actually what I really want for my birthday is icons from Hell Girl that are of Mokku/Hone Onna/Wanyuudou, but that's not something I can adequately convey to my parents. What will I do? Go to work I guess...I think I might actually have to call people and have them tell me if we should go out to eat or make dinner or what.

Where is Rebecca with her quirky birthday plans when I need her?!

Little else of note transpires. I bought and watched "Darjeeling Limited" again and it was beautiful and funny and touching and sad. Also Adrien Brody has the largest hands in the world. I may have mentioned that before.

And I started watching Torchwood, which is odd, because I've never had even the slightest interest in Dr. Who and I generally don't like sci-fi, but for some reason enough people have offhandedly mentioned it online that I thought I'd look into it, and it felt really uneven but I definitely want to see more of it.

And [livejournal.com profile] coramegan: do you have a reliable way to contact you, e-mail perhaps? My address is mcnadenade@gmail.com if you want to reveal to me your secret.

I could make you icons! If I knew what that was! But have a birthday of a sort anyway!

Also, why are you not watching Skins like I told you to? Hmm?

*goes to buy DL myself and enjoy Adrien Brody more than I should*

I'm a teeny bit surprised you've never hit up the goodness that is Dr. Who. The new series really is fantastic. I've seen very little of Torchwood; what I've seen is generally good, though Dr. Who outstrips it, muchly.

You should call people and tell them what you want to do and when and stuff. At least a time and place to convene and then we can do whatever. And present you with things!

Happy Birthday!

Pre-emptive B-Day Strike!

Happy B-day to you. I hope that you find yourself doing something AWESOME! on the day in question.

As to Torchwood, it attempts to be more gritty than Dr. Who in ways that I find irksome. It may be more X-files ish in that regard. Personally, I recommend Doctors 9 and 10, 10 especially. Sure it's silly, but it's amusingly silly.
