Anyway, this cake is great

Thank you very much to everyone who wished me a happy birthday/drew hot arts for me nom/called me from Taiwan/sent me e-cake and everything else. It meant a whole lot to me and made me very happy. You guys are amazing. ♥

My birthday was a low-key affair with a coffee cake made by my mom at our staff meeting and a special guest appearance by Oni. After work donburi and purest_lime went out and bought Cooking Mama for the Wii, and were joined by monkeybobert as we made a horrible mockery of haute cuisine. Aaand then we had dinner at Takara and cake at my house and my mom had my picture of Oni in the teacup put on a cake. ;_; It was too cute. I almost did not want to eat it, but it was so delicious... ONICAKE WINS.

Um yeah, and that's about it. I continued celebrating yesterday by working 11 hours, taking over the shift of someone who came in really sick and really miserable. I didn't really mind, cuz I got to work on my projects and prevent the spread of disease, and I was going to be working fairly late anyway.

And that's pretty much my story... except HAY I'M MOVIE STAR!

The "Public Enemies" people called and I am a pedestrian in one scene. I had already written them off as a damn good try and been planning to cut my hair. (I did not have the courage to ask if either Mr. Bale or Mr. Depp or Ms. Cotillard would be around in the scene cuz I didn't want them to uncast me once they realize I had fannish ulterior motives.) :F Wooha. Hooray happy 2 days after my birthday to me! \o.o/
