You will call, won`t you?
Oct. 9th, 2003 02:10 pmThere`s this, um, old Doonesbury cartoon.
I`ve only read, like, old Doonesbury comics from the books my uncle left in my grandparents apartment, and the one I`m thinking of is from `Call Me When You Find America.`
And the character of Mark is working at some job involving audio tapes or film...
It goes something like this:
Panel 1: *boss guy sitting at his desk, a scream comes from outside* AAIGH!
Panel 2: *Mark comes in holding a mass of tangled film or tape, looking panicked and bewildered* AAIGH!
Panel 3: *Mark collapses with his head on the desk and the mass of tape or film next to him* AAIGH!
Panel 4: *spoken by the boss* I take it you want out.
I didn`t really describe that well.
But it`s pretty much how I feel.
