How could I ever possibly resist a meme like this? Especially while I'm at work right now, and thanks to our mini-sale thing I'm buying like...8 things today. I have a problem.

From [livejournal.com profile] wofl_iron:
This is Entertainment Weekly's list of the top movies of the last 25 years. Go through their list and BOLD the ones you have seen and underline the ones you own on video or DVD.

1. Pulp Fiction (1994)
2. The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-03) I don't even have words for how much I love these.

14. Crumb (1995)
15. Edward Scissorhands (1990) I'm not sure why I've never seen this.
16. Boogie Nights (1997) I watched this movie with my parents. If it weren't already such a good movie, that fact alone would make it endlessly entertaining.
17. Jerry Maguire (1996) We snuck into this movie because it was R and we were 14 and it was sooo dramatic and sneaky.
18. Do the Right Thing (1989)
19. Casino Royale (2006)

36. Spider-Man 2 (2004)

59. L.A. Confidential (1997) One of my favorite mysteries ever.
60. Scream (1996) Scream really was incendiary. The horror genre of the past decade owes so much to it.

81. Moonstruck (1987)
82. Lost in Translation (2003) This is the movie of the story of my life in Japan. There are so many things, more than I can ever say.

98. The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999)
99. The Blair Witch Project (1999)
100. South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut (1999) I've seen parts of it, and Rebecca rented it like 93 times in college, but I just...I've never been interested in South Park. Meh.

Oh man. I just want to go through my DVD collection and write about it more and more. One good thing about my own apartment would be finally having enough shelf space for it all.

Also, did I like "Sin City" enough to buy it, or did I enjoy it more because I saw it while [livejournal.com profile] nymeria was visiting? Considerations...
