Somewhere in time and space

maypirateYesterday I worked for 10 hours straight without a break. That was cool. I liked the part where my boss kept saying, "You're still here?" and I wanted to be like "...did you see all the stuff you asked me to do? Also, maybe if we didn't run a freaking DOS program that broke itself twice today I would have been done sooner."
As expected, I did not say these things. But I thought them. I thought them hard.
Mystery Roommate Laura is very sweet and I like her a lot. She cleaned the apartment yesterday and rearranged furniture and generally did more in a day than I'd done in about two weeks. She's very impressive and is amused by my penchant for lying on the floor, which is good, since I do it a lot.
Sadly, we will not have internet until Saturday, because that's the earliest they could come and throw around the wires or whatever. I feel the pain. I feel it acutely. Don't forget me. ;_:
