I am a wasp, over. Bzzzt.
Nov. 2nd, 2008 09:02 amYesterday I woke up and blearily made my way to the outside of my room world, only to be asked by Laura, who had already been cleaning for three hours, "why is there gay porn in the living room?"
I knew I should have moved it into my room. So I told her about the buttons and the people in the internet and at least she didn't find my doujinshi collection which is safely at my house. That would have been even harder to explain. I was anticipating this day when I'd have to explain my weird predilections would come, and it was just as amusing as expected.
Last night she called me at around 1:30 to pick her and some friends up from the "Freak Fest," and although it was cold and I had been sleeping, I told her she could feel free to call me any time and I meant it. It's been a great boon to me in my life that my parents allowed me to call whenever, so I felt I should repay the favor. She was verrrry drunk and so were her friends, but they repeatedly declared their love for me for picking them up, and so that was okay.
She is a good roommate, I got very lucky.
But what is more exciting is I just bought a larger cage for pigs, and have emailed the pig rescue to establish adoption intentions toward two little girls.
They are Olivia (black and white) and Nicky (orange), and here is their picture from the website:

I was looking at other pigs too, as I mentioned, but I made the decision based on talking to my mommy and by the fact that when I close my eyes, they are the first pigs I imagine living with me. I haven't yet decided if I will rename them, since I think their names are kind of cute, although Olivia might cause some confusion with
zoechan, who will not be living in a cage in my room. Sadly.
So I'm hoping to bring them home after NekoCon and I'm very excited. Even though I still miss Oni every day.
The thought of them will hopefully carry me through the world's longest staff meeting, set to start in 1.25 hours and ending when I kill all humans.
