Fortunately/Unfortunately

maypirateFORTUNATELY: I emailed Charlie, my adviser.
UNFORTUNATELY: I emailed him instead of calling him, because I'm afraid for some reason. I guess I'm afraid to hear "too much time has passed, and you are no longer viable for your degree." And while he might write that instead? Somehow I feel like reading it would be easier. And I might be able to deal with it, too. But I dunno why I feel scared to call one of the nicest men in the whole world who's helped me through so much. At least I did something, right? I hope he writes me back soon and we can go to Candy Mountain. ;_;
FORTUNATELY: I tidied up my room!
UNFORUNATELY: There are still dishes to be done, and prior to that, unloading of the dishwasher. Blaaar inane tasks are inane.
FORTUNATELY: It's snowing! :D It looks like a perfect day to read gothic-y weird things, and I have a Borders coupon.
UNFORTUNATELY: I uh...I'm not sure I'll be able to get my car out of the driveway with the snow being as much as it is. And the landlord is out of town and I don't know if the shovel people will come today and I don't have a shovel of my own whoops.
FORTUNATELY: Oscar party with the Extras tomorrow! :D
UNFORTUNATELY: I actually DIDN'T totally complete my Oscar ballot (stupid foreign movies that never came out here and short films that no one even watches ever), so I need to get down to the store...and again, that whole snow-covered driveway thing.
And uh...now I ran out. I guess I will end on a fortunate note, though: I have a very beautiful and meditative documentary on, the snow is very pretty, the piggies are resting cutely in their igloos, and I got up early and got all this stuff done. Well...some stuff done. There was stuff, I did it. Kinda.
Oh my gosh, maybe I should also play Odin Sphere today. Ooooooer.
