maypirateIt should go without saying that I'm not going to be reposting anyone's entries anywhere, and I hope people would do the same - there's a reason I no longer link to my LJ from my Facebook (not that I even use Facebook for the most part).
Also, barring some sort of fiery cataclysm, I will not ever be moving to Dreamwidth, and I'm disinclined to follow anyone else there - not out of lack of love, but because I simply don't have the brainpower (like I said, I can't even deal with FB) and I've been on LJ for seven years. If you're gonna crosspost from there? That's dandy and I'm all for it. But I'm probably going to be here until I go down with this ship to be eaten by the crabs at the bottom of the ocean. Mmmm. weilide! I don't know where in the world you are, but I assume you're being tall and productive and I wish you all the birthday goodness possible on this day. Also I hope to eventually see you again.
Just watching the ST bigbang whatever communities makes me want to chew my heart in angst, so if nothing immediately grabs me on the prompts this weekend, I am dropping out of the art and unfriending the comms for my own sanity. Peace in the struggle to find peace, or whatever.
Tomorrow I'm going to sleep in and it's going to be fantastic. In fact I will probably just go home from work and lie directly on my bed. I kinda wanted to eat my boss' head yesterday when she was like "I've had trouble sleeping this week too" but failed to recognize that uh, hi, I've been the one here at 7:30 every morning. Oh well. My jerk boss is gonna be a jerk, haters gonna hate, etc.
But I do have shiny shiny silver nails and shiny shiny new silver flipflops to wear in the wedding pictures, and last night I had an awesome hamburger and there was BBQ sauce involved which got everywhere on my jeans but fuck it was delicious. And then there was pie.
