The distant travel to Mt. Koya on Friday was the greatest AKP-affliated trip of the year, in terms of sheer enjoyment and me being happy with everything. While the fall trip was all right, I was sad for a lot of it, and annoyed, but Koya was brilliance.

It was shockingly beautiful, cold, there was much funny on the train, the trees were huge, Hubbard male was a dick as usual, and somehow... there was just something.

Friday night was spent running through a graveyard in my socks with Nikki and Cone, trying to sneak up on everyone else.

And I just wanted to live there, for some reason, and not really, but kind of, because it was so something. It goes along with my theory that almost everywhere in Japan is worthwhile except Kyoto, but I could see myself being happy in Koya, as long as I had broadband and a keeboo. It made me think, in all honesty and daring confession, that maybe this has been worthwhile somehow. It made me think that yes, I probably will look back and say "There are some parts of my time in Japan that I would not have missed for anything." But don`t go thinking I like it or anything. ;)

Ate lots of cheese and crackers with Megan and Kevin on Saturday; Kevin was impressed by my cheese intake capacity. I should be doing pretty well when I get home.

And I bought two new Engrish shirts with the money my host parents gave me for food, and the entire set of Sorcerer Hunters manga, which I`ve been eyeing since I got here.

I tried to start packing yesterday, and uh...there might be a few problems.

I had my last reading class today, and on the way home I will mail many small packages.

If only they`d given me more money so I could buy some cds...
