This morning, as I was sitting next to a little garden waiting for a ride to work from my mom, I thought of this quote:
Bart: *after having broken his leg* I'm gonna miss the whole summer!
Homer: When you grow up and get a job like me, you'll miss every summer!
If I could go back, I would not take those school breaks for granted. Urgh.
Anyway, on a brighter note, I have a whole world of felted creatures to show! And they are categorically organized!
But we'll start with: Stripey pigs!

Stripey pigs from the back! I made the for my parents for Mother's and Father's day respectively.

Birddd.

Birddd says hi.
Oh hi Mami!

Mami comes with optional disassembly.

Mami comes with optional disassembly.

Mami's head from the side. I was trying to take a picture of her hat and the super perfect button I found for it, but it's hard to just take pictures of that, you know?
And finally, more of the series of dolls I am calling:

Jim! His hair was styled by
jou and
latenightarting, which is to say they made :\ faces at me until I got it right.

Jim and Bones! They are friends.

Bones! ...okay I am the least happy with him. Maybe it's the hideously lopsided ears or the too De Kelley-ish hair, but I need to try again.

Uhura! She is sassy and gave me more technical trouble than everyone else put together, but I think she turned out well. Also yes I know that technically, her undies should be red, but
jou suggested pink, and it was done.

And Sulu! It's hard to see his eyebrows because I apparently fail at pictures, but they are there! OH MY KIKI.

Sulu and Jim, awwww. Look, Sulu, how his translucently blue eyes yearn for you!
All together now! Except for Spock. And um...the people I haven't made yet.

So now I'm gonna be semi-bold and offer commissions, if anyone is interested. I'm happy to make more dolls or pigs or whatever (there's a whole gallery of this stuff). I can even make people with clothes, like Mami! I'm just gauging interest, but please don't hesitate to let me know if you wanted to commission something or try a trade! I really like sewing! It makes me a slightly calmer person.
Although I'm about to harsh my calm by doing work again. Ah, so it goes. :F
...I need a good sewing icon.

The Enterprise crew is already wonderful without their clothes on... I'll have to brace myself to see them clothed!!
