Thanks for the comments, y'allz, and
zoechan thanks for the beee-oooo-tiful pictures. It all really helped. Mmm...Al and Ed solves anything...
Finally got around to asking
monkeybobert to help me with my Japanese. After 9 years, there's no reason it should be so...lacking, and I really do need someone to keep me in line now that I don't have consistent classes. If only I weren't so terrified of speaking in front of her, which, considering who and what she is to me is really kind of...bizarre.
Watched more of "The Office" with Don last night, and some "Elfen Lied," which we decided was stupid-ish. Well, more like he decided that and I thought maybe I'd watch more, but we got distracted going through his DVD collection and deciding which were the most pretentious, and then saying lines from "Arrested Development" at each other. New season of "Arrested Development" starts Oct. 17, but apparently the time interferes with "Seventh Heaven," so Jake won't TiVo it. I want to kick them both.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEGAN!! Because she is in Japan, and therefore it is already her birthday. YOU WILL GET MAIL ANYWAY!
Hugs for
taskemus, who I will corner in a dark alley and force to be my friend.
For anyone who's interested, the book that I am going to go kill myself into reading is "That Noble Dream: The 'Objectivity Question' and the American Historical Profession." Just saying the title puts me to sleep, ugh.
...and I'm going to go read that...now.
......now.
......
.........AAARGH!

Date: 2005-09-16 02:27 am (UTC)HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGAN! Whoever Megan is. . . >> It's just fun to say happy birthday.
And also fun to randomly shout happy new year when it isn't new years. And I'm also tired so you don't have to pay attention to me.
Gah! Don't kill me! *hides* But we're already friends. I think.
And that book sounds absolutely boring, like one of those books that you'd get through and then have no idea what the hell it was that you just read, if you have any idea what I'm talking about.

Date: 2005-09-16 07:10 pm (UTC)I think we're already friends too, but I have to find a convincing way to meet you and drag you around town and prove I'm not a scary internet person. You can ask Ms. Berstein about Amber Cohen, she'll vouch for me. ;)
And OH GOD IT IS. I read for two hours straight and at the end I was like "...I have no idea what I just read." Bleagh.

Date: 2005-09-17 06:25 pm (UTC)Mmkay, sure, I'll ask her. XD But, wait, she's Ms. Bernstein. . . you spelled it wrong, or is this another thing where there are different teachers, like with Mr. Lyons? Because if there were -two- teachers like that, it would be insanely weird.
Aw, that sucks. Did you get enough out of it so that you don't have to reread it, though? Because that would -really- suck.
