I hope you had the time of your life...
Apr. 15th, 2003 07:48 pmWell Chenya and Maggie have come and gone. I think they had a good time...I know I did. :) They came to my classes and went on a tour and came to my rehearsal and we saw a scary scary bug and screamed a lot and we went to Asia House basement and chased down Adam's car. You can read all about this in more in Chenya's journal!
I forgot to mention earlier that on Friday Oliver and I watched two really hot Korean movies. The first was "2009:Lost Memories" about Ito Hirobumi not being assasinated in 1909 and that changing the course of history and had time travel and stuff. It was basically an action movie, and at times a little too melodramatic, but it was a lot of fun. We also watched "JSA (Joint Security Area)" which was a drama, and really cool and very very sad. I want to own it.
Anyway, um...I had a huge tour today. I was just supposed to be the backup guide for the noon tour, but the actual guide never showed up, so I took the whole thing. It worked out pretty well, but I had to shout to be heard, and it was really windy...although it was a really pretty day.
I also feel kinda bad because I got mad at/irritated with Wyna and Rebecca for not being able to do things in a timely manner. It basically has to do with me wanting to go to dinner with people, they assured me we'd go, then we decided to go to Tooo Chinois, and then...things got all stupid, and it got too late to do that, and too late for them to go to Stevenson, so they went to De Cafe, and because I couldn't stand the idea of eating another sandwich for dinner, I went alone. But I found people to sit with. And I did kinda have a sandwich...BUT I HAD NOODLES TOO. And that made it okay. I was probably kinda bitchy because I hadn't eaten much at all today, but...also, the lack of punctuality an inability to follow through on so many plans gets to me every so often. I know Bob thinks I'm not on time, which I admit to doing when I'm at home, but here I'm always punctual. And then I go crazy. Anyway, I'll apologize to them later.
And in other news, Don's roommate Eric and Eric's girlfriend Ashley are engaged. WHOA! It makes me really happy, but it's also really weird at the same time.
And I'm gonna be up really late tonight trying to get a whole bunch done. It's hard to do work when you have friends around. I can't believe tomorrow is Passover. I don't think I'm going to the Seder here, but...I'm not really sure what I'll do. Maybe I'll make Matzoh ball soup. I wish I could go home...Oh well.
