I knew I forgot something:

1- bacondreamer!!! My computer has ceased to recognize external my cd drive (the one Aja filled with fur!). Do you know how I can fix that?

2- ANYONE!!! Please teach me how to make a moving icon! It doesn't even have to move much! Just one frame! Just a picture, then it switches to words! Please?

And maybe I'm the last person to realize this, but Johnny Depp in "Sleepy Hollow" is adorable. That is all.

If you do, or plan on getting it:

Make as many frames as you want in the "animation" box. For every frame, you should have at least one layer in the "layer" box. Then specify which layer to be visible for which frame. Set the time, and wai, it's done X3;;;

At least, that's how I figured to do it. It's probably wrong, but it works just fine XD;;; Good luck ^^

adobe imageready. open file, make a new layer, stick the words/next image/whatever in that, then in the animation box, you should make 2 frames (if you right click on it, a "insert new frame" thing should come up. in the first frame, make the second layer with the words invisible (in the 'layers' window there should be an eye next to that layer. make it go away by clicking on it). make sure the layer is switched on in the second frame. the animation box should also have options for you to play with (pause time in between, play once only or forever....)

I'll bet that wasn't helpful at all. I'm sorry...it's a really confusing application and I can't really use it well either. Joel's pretty good at Photoshop and Imageready though, maybe you could take the chance to invite him over.

if you figure it out, when you save, you need to select "save (or maybe it says "export") optimized" or it won't be an animated image. Make sure your optimization settings are set to animated gif and not JPG (it should give you an option box when you select the save)...
