"You always have to look, Pip."
Nov. 13th, 2005 08:51 amWith 7.5 hours of work at my disposal yesterday, I finally got to do what I've been itching to do since I started: play all three Lord of the Rings movies in a row. Not the extended editions, of course, and I left at the Shelob section of RotK, but it certainly made the day easier to deal with.
I'd almost forgotten how much I deeply, obsessively love LotR, but now I recall how much I want to live in those movies.
Anyway, gushiness aside, I came home from work feeling really tired and blah, forced myself to eat some soup, and then fell asleep to X-Files around 8:30. I'd expected I'd wake up when my parents got home, or after the episode ended, or something, but nope. I woke up at 6:59 this morning.
I sleep in my clothes and in the guest room more than in my pajamas and my bed. I really need to fix this.
Also, could half my friends list STOP BEING SICK? I swear, you're all contagious. If I start coughing soon, it's going to be all y'allz fault.
Unfortunately, I work all day again today, when we'll be hit with the returns of everything that got checked out on Friday. Uuuugh... and I have my lecture critique, which seems like it should be easy, but I can't seem to concentrate.
At least I got to wake up to one porny new story in each of my fandoms. :)
-lecture critique
-see Don before he leaves for Portland again
-class readings
-personal statement
-call for applications
-finish online applications
-make new GRE appointment
-iconsssss, icons precious
-zuu
-things that are not zuu
-get a haircut
-run around in circles until I fall down
Now I get to carry furniture off the porch, hooray!
Long day at work ahead, you know the drill: if you're as bored as I am, clap your hands and send me a text. Rock on.

Date: 2005-11-13 05:14 pm (UTC)Good luck getting all you stuff done! I've still got some readings and I have to study for Genetics because I must have it learned before Veronica Mars on Wednesday. I have my priorities straight.
I debated on what icon to use, because I know (assume) that one of those porny new stories was Veronica and Logan in the bathroom. But girly Legolas won out in the end.

Date: 2005-11-13 05:17 pm (UTC)Just think: sleeping from 8:30 to 7:00 is a fairly normal sleeping schedule. That's got to count for something, even if it was in your clothes in the guestroom.

Date: 2005-11-14 04:21 am (UTC)And you know (assume) correctly! Kudos to you!
I will see you on the morrow, and hopefully I'll have slept in my pajamas in my bed beforehand!
I used this icon just for you.

And I must go now.

Date: 2005-11-14 04:23 am (UTC)Tragically, I had to leave early, but oh yes. I've also watched all the extended editions in a row. It took slightly less than 12 hours. And I'd do it again in an instant. I love them that much.
...and away you go! You're like the wind...fwoosh!

Date: 2005-11-14 04:32 am (UTC)Muahaha. And I will probably be sleeping in clothes again tonight, except downstairs instead of in the guest room. Because the main TV and computer are down here, and the guest room just has books.
All the extended editions in a row? Wow, you win at just about everything. I watched the first 1 1/2 in a row once... ^^; And yeah, those movies rock.
