What's with the "goo" in the middle of the explanation? Suddenly, the quiz author had a heart attack and fell onto the keyboard...

Umm...I read almost all of my last book for American History. It's really good, but very complicated. It's about, to some extent, "the politics of remembering" and in some ways makes me question some of the memories I hold to be very true because they have undoubtedly been altered by time. It's very strange. A good book, though.

Speaking of books, one that I HATE is The Merchant of Venice. Now, of course, I'm hardly unbiased when it comes to literature where THE ENTIRE CAST DISLIKES JEWS, but...it's just disgusting. Shylock my be the villain, but I see his point at completely valid: why would you want to lend money to someone who continually insults you and tries to take away your business? EVERY SINGLE FUCKING CHARACTER IN THE PLAY EXCEPT HIM IS A HORRIBLE ASSHOLE AND I WANT THEM ALL TO DIE. DIE DIE DIE.
Reading it makes me feel sick.

I went to an Obertones concert last night, and it was good...It made me miss Arm, and reminded me how much I wish I could be at Don's show tomorrow night. Siiiiiigh...

I've got so much to do this weekend, and tonight alone I need to try to balance seeing Matt's dance thing, playing DDR with my neighbor, going to a cast party and watching a movie with Oliver. Tomorrow I have to give a special tour, meet with my English teacher, research the fuck out of Korea, and try to find still more time to watch more movies and talk to Don. AAARGH! Why the hell did I say I'd do the first presentation on my final paper? I'm stupid, that's why.

I can't believe the semester's almost over.
And having those girls bust all into my room saying "We're living here next year, can we look around?" only makes it more real. I don't want to give them my room...I hope they inherit the ants. >:)
