There's the Big Parade starting right about now. It's a community builder-type thing between the college and the town, and they've been building floats and things for months... There are events all over Tappan Square, and there will probably be free food, so I'll be heading over there in a little to check it out.

My Korean presentation seems to have gone well, except for the part that I had SO MUCH TO SAY I RAN OUT OF TIME. In retrospect, I shouldn't have gone through the things we covered in class, but I mean, I wanted to give the basis...in the end, I could only show one scene from "Shiri" and had to speed through "JSA" but I think Prof. Jager liked it...Anyway, I'm free from that now.

And yeah...I slept most of yesterday afternoon then ultimately watched movies with Oliver. We watched "Resurrection of the Little Match Girl" which was a total mindfuck and like a weirdo Korean "Matrix" on crack, and...yeah, I didn't care for it a whole lot. But then we watched "Jailbreakers," or as the subtitle said "Jailbreaeers" which was really funny. Any movie that has a car flying over things is good in my book.

Essentialy goodness:

"He was led down an incredible path by a soup spoon."

Yeah, so thanks to Oliver I now am deeper into Asian cinema than I would ever have imagined. It's really incredible.

Anyway, when it gets a little later in Wisconsin, I'll call Don.
