I was supposed to open the store this morning.

I showed up at 11:30.

And somehow, I am not fired.

I have to go put my head down on a desk and cry in relief right now.

As I've learned from stupid co-workers, you can do (or not do) a lot without getting fired. Apparently it's less trouble for them to keep on someone than it is to find and train a replacement.

Awww. I've done that before, supposed to open at 8:45, came in at 11. Then there was the one occasion where I was supposed to open at 8:45, overslept until the front office called at 9:45 to wonder where I was, raced in by ten, and my boss wasn't there. XDD So she never knew!
