Anyway, WORK IS OVER.

Okay, Don's gone now. WORK IS OVER. I had a good time with it. I rode carts through the hell and taped a sign to my back that said "Does Not Corner Well" which amused everyone who saw it except this one supervisor in the kitchen who made me take it off. I decided she was a humorless bitch. They asked me if I could work on Friday, but I said no, I'll be on a plane.
HA!
I will indeed be on a plane. I will be in New York from Friday to Monday, and my mom and I are going to stay in a hotel. I have to get callin' people in town. Bet I won't be able to find any of 'em.
Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...Don and I watched some X-Files, and I showed him "Eve" which is a really good episode and very creepy. And thanks to Jake's jerkitude, I have now written down every episode in which Mulder gets shot. It's less than I thought; I guess he just nearly dies a whole bunch of times. I don't know if pretending to shoot himself or being convinved by ghosts that he was shot counts.
Anyway. I have a fear. That fear is that I will hate Pirates. I can already feel the "everyone else likes it, so I won't" feeling seeping into my thoughts. I think it's being inundated with all this pirate stuff... I'm still going to go with Don, and I'll try not to let my mind be poisoned...but I can't make any promises.
Now if Xander Berkeley was a pirate...
But now we're getting into different territories whatsoever.
And I have a question for y'all yaoi and yuri gals... Would it be as attractive to you if you got to see all the hair and the fluids and the sweating and the gross? Because the more I think about it, sex really is kinda funny and gross, and I'm wondering why we think it's so attractive, and why movies dress it up. Well, I mean, I know why movies dress it up, because if they showed the real thing no one would ever want to see anyone else having sex, watching them grab for tissues afterwards so they don't leak goo all over the sheets. If you read Savage Love, you hear more than enough about this -and recently in the world of "butthumping" which a terrible, terrible word, they've been talking a lot about "Santorum" and it's gross.
Sex is weird and funny and gross.
Why do people like to watch it?
Damned if I know, but who am I to judge? I'm already one of them.
Was that random and icky enough for you? I should stop eating these corn chips or I won't be able to eat dinner.
