I want you to want me
Aug. 3rd, 2005 02:49 amSo the DA incident has gotten several...uh...commentors, and their amazing responses can be found here. Corin responded under my old DJNadeNade account, and his is absolutely hysterical.
I thank my defenders.
Felt remarkably shitty for most of today, but I still went for my interview down at Pop Deluxe and I think I am essentially guaranteed a job, although I have to talk to Four Star first. I actually have no idea what they pay, but I'm under the impression that it's more than $6.50 (which I currently make) and I have no complaints about that.
Finally talked to the Elricest writer I've been stalking, which was full of excitement.
And then Bob and I attempted to go rent much of season six of the X-Files, since Joel hasn't given it back, and found out that Four Star only has up through 3. I am sad and ashamed.
So instead, we rented "Bride and Prejudice," and "10 Things I Hate About You." The former was...um... what's a good way to.. OH GOD. My mom was like "What were you watching, you were screaming so much." I mean, if you love badly over-dubbed Indian actors bursting into seven minute terrible songs, this movie is for you! And if not, then run. Run run run run run, she is a stapler, run away.
"10 Things," despite containing a "scene," was quite good, especially with the Jewish kid, and there was little to no screaming involved in its viewing. As far as teen movies go, this one gets a very high rating from me, because it was especially well done and not full of sucking. Also, the whole "shrew, taming of" thing.
And yeah.
I will shortly go to bed, but I think I'm going to eat the other half of that poptart first. Curse my addiction to their cinnamon-brown sugary goodness.
Damn, yo.
