It's Never Lupus
Sep. 25th, 2007 12:41 pmI am stepping out of my self-imposed barbed-wire evil uncomforting comfort zone to inform or remind everyone that today is a special day.
It is a special day because the season premiere of HOUSE is tonight, and this is wonderous and terrifying, potentially full of heartbreak and joy in equal components.
It's sort of a little early to say this, and god knows I have no idea what will happen tonight or next week or in future seasons, but while I dug Veronica Mars, House is the first show since X-Files incites in me the kind of deep devotion that keeps me from ever putting the DVD sets back on my shelf; they end up out of their sleeves and often unfolded on the floor with discs missing (or mixed up with X-Files discs), because I watch it so often and it never gets old or boring.
This is my show, y'all. I'm still afraid of making large statments or fandom commitments, and I'm pretty goddamn shy about it, but like half of you have SPN, and the other half love FMA and Bandom (pretend it's on TV, okay?), this is my show and I love it and I want to run in circles and tell everyone about it and how great it is and how happy it makes me as its brutal awesomeness socks me in the face. And I'm glad that VM is over so that I can always watch it now.
So talk to me about House today! Some of you out there must have secret House love! Or if you don't, call someone who does and send them this way because there is love to be shared! Or just sit still and let me expound upon you at length why I love it (and also why I love Chase because he is my favoritest).
