"What do you know about Dust, Lyra?"

You may ask why I'm awake right now, but it's the usual story involving me, my stomach sucking, and lying down only to wake up like four hours later, so it's not very interesting.

I went to see "The Golden Compass" with Wendy-mentor tonight, and soda_and_capes, I owe you an apology.

Meanwhile, though, today I finally sat down with "Only the Ring Finger Knows," which I ganked from jou back in October, and I absolutely loved it. And considering that I am the anti-shoujo, and aside from a few notable and particular cases don't give a flying ratfuck about yaoi, I feel like that's saying something. It was such a sweet and moving story, and I thought Wataru was adorable. And I came to really like the art, which was also a bit surprising.

So apparently there are novels that continue the story, and I must have them. O.O

In conclusion, today involved something I was really excited about being disappointing, and something I was genuinely non-commital about being totally wonderful. Funny how that happens.

I'm-a go read my "Golden Compass" book now and wibble. Cuz of course now it's 4 am and I'm not tired. Blaarrghah.
