Meanwhile, back in my head
Jul. 17th, 2008 07:20 pmOn Thursdays I work with a gent who is probably my least favorite coworker, and today I was very proud of myself for not snapping and going "could you be any more useless? HOW long have you worked here?!!?" Good for me. Internalize the rage, Amber.
In other lame news, tomorrow is the start of a big 3 day outside sale that consumes the main drag of Madison's downtown, and it may very well rain. And I will be in our tent outside, ideally dry, but probably still damp. It may still be possible, however, for me to see the new Batman movie as the Sundance Theater appears to still have tickets. It is very tempting, but if it doesn't work out, I guess I'll go see Iron Man again and be the only person in the whole theater.
On a better note than the past...while, I have found an apartment and will be moving in around the middle of August-ish. I still need a roommate, since Oni can't pay her share, but hopefully one will come in time. And I will finally achieve one of my life-long dreams of collecting furnishings from the curb, as the annual dumpster diving holiday will be at that time. I may need to locate a wagon.
In case anyone is keeping score:

Edit:
Me: I love that I quote Shakespeare and Blue Oyster Cult in the same sentence. OH I'm so culturally aware!
Joel: ...that's one way to put it.
