On foot on sea, and one on shore

I spent most of this weekend sleeping. Very sad and very true, but I was overcome by a nameless pseudo-sadness and lethargy and it makes me want to look into vitamin D supplements because yeah. I did, however, manage to successfully build a TV stand and watch the first two episodes of the BBC "Life on Mars," which I had been really looking forward to, and which was... all right, I guess. I do enjoy a good British mystery, but I'm less into the "Sweeney" police thing.

Meh, I'm just having trouble watching things in general.

But I am going to get my hair cut tonight, finally, and I don't care how many people have said I should grow it out or even just try letting it get longer (even my roommate, who suggested it might get Don back and to which I rolled my eyes since she means well but what), I want to look like a 14 year old boy and none of you can stop me. I just have to find that picture of Hyde yawmin sent me a while back that I used as a model the first time.

I keep meaning to do that "take a picture of yourself right now" meme, but the pictures on my phone are always so large... Perhaps I'll do one in a bit and put it under a cut.

This morning's deep thoughts revolve mostly around whether or not I want to go buy tea now, or wait and go around 11 to break up the monotony.

Do stupid things faster and with more energy

APPARENTLY coffee makes EVERYTHING BETTER!!! because instead of getting tea I decided to go with the drink special at the coffee shop today and got a Blackberry Mocha and I feel GREAT! It's so awesome I decided to make a whole other entry about it! Mmmm false high, I fully support your current happy-making-ness and my future crashing.

Also, I have begun a new TV-show courtship. Or I've given it a show I previously dismissed a second chance. I'm kind of excited about it, but maybe it's the coffee talking again. We're going to go home together and maybe have dinner and see if the relationship can become a long-term thing.

In conclusion. Maybe those people who drink coffee every morning are on to something...
