Compare signatures as a last resort

No decisions on computer futures yet. I'm trying not to think about it, except I don't really have much else to think about since I'm working another back day and actually have nothing to do. So I'm using the time while my boss isn't here to write some e-mails and read some TV show recaps and generally clock-watch.

Sunday I did the truly boneheaded thing of leaving a light on in my car, which required calling AAA to have it jumped. Unfortunately, I apparently didn't drive it long enough after the jumping, as I tried to start it last night and got nothing. So I get to call them again this afternoon and then take a very long drive to who knows where and hope I don't run out of gas before my car runs out of...abilities.

Also I seem to have lost the cute new mitts I got to match my new scarf, and that is sad because my hands are very very cold right now.

But!! I have taken my lunch to work for the past few days, which has saved me some $$$, and not being able to drive last night saved yet more that would have gone to one of those cookie-themed "javakula" things that they make at Borders. But we'll see how long that resistance lasts. Right about now I'm thinking about going to a coffee shop just to have something to do.
