Thank goodness for my electric dress
Jul. 16th, 2010 09:04 pmSuddenly this week is GONE. I mean, I knew it was flying by at the time but oh my gosh. And I don't seem to have the brain power or the concentration to write much lately (which I'm trying to fix) but here's a few key points:

jou and caffeaffogato, I got to meet sail_aweigh and breakthecitysky in person, and they were both awesome and adorable and classy and rocking and I hope to see them again. And I got to see thistlerose again, and we ate cookies and talked about ST and geeked out and went to dinner and I had a really excellent time. And I honestly meant to post this at the beginning of the week (and then the week got awaaay), to say thank you to everyone, especially the two who drove, because it was so much fun. PLEASE COME AGAIN! :D
-Starting today was/is a big sale downtown called "Maxwell Street Days," which we've spent the week getting ready for at the store and what is most deeply obnoxious about it has been that I suggested before my boss left on vacation that we should maybe start to put things in order and she just brushed me off. So this week has been a mess of scrambling to get ready, and doing stupidly long hours and everyone being crabby and UGUHHGGH and it's hot out (we work outside in a magical tent of sales that are not actually great deals!) and badkfhudsk I'm gonna stop now but it has not been a delight.
-WE BOUGHT OUR TICKETS FOR OTAKON.yawmin I will forward you the details!
My goals for next week include: not working all the damn time, getting a haircut, ordering more button parts, and possibly not running in the opposite direction from all the things I mean to be writing.
