So I think for now, my decision about filters is to just leave well enough alone. Several people have said it plainly enough: that my journal is my journal, that people who decide to friend me make that choice and therefore are mentally prepared to read my firery inanities.

And I need to stand up to it. This IS my journal, I wouldn't keep it if I didn't want to talk and have people listen. I'm always terrified of imposing, but there are things I want to talk about for me, and I'm going to talk about them and not be afraid.

...well...at least I'll try. We'll see if it actually works in practice. But seriously, the name of my journal is "Follow Through," for god's sake. I think I need to listen to myself.
