So this is the final word on filters:

Filters will exist, and copious fanning and emoing will go on behind them. But in trying to keep myself from talking about shows I like on a show-watching basis, and stories that my friends write, I found that waiting to put them behind a cut made me not want to do it at all.

So [VanitasVanitatum] is my open, default filter, [Rollo Timussy]...yeah, someday you'll know if you're on that or not, and [Alsexual/ Veritas/Aequitas / May's Host Club] will all be applied for extra-fannish things beyond the normal variety.

Right. Not like anyone really cares, especially since I've only been using [VV] the past week.

Would anyone be willing to help me make a "this journal is largely open" banner? I know what image I want to use, and what I want it to say, but I have no PS skills at all.

AND THE ANSWER TO MY TRUE/FALSE POST.

1. Dating Ian - true. Very weird relationship. Not bad, just odd. I broke up with him to go out with Don. Never looked back.

2. Looking calm while spazzy - true. The crazy is often INSIDE my head while I'm typing. Not that I don't spazz physically and wildly when given the opportunity. But if I knocked my laptop off my bed I'd kill myself.

3. True - my middle name is my paternal grandmother's maiden name, and I am the last Shandling in our family. I'm very proud of my middle name. So much so that I incorporated it into my official signature.

4. True - "dammit" has long been a part of my vocabulary, much longer than other swear words.

5. True - OH! MIKEY!

6. FALSE! - kleptoneko (who cheated :p) and mikkeneko were right. My dad is a Colonial Historian - more specifically early American religion and native peoples. Despite our different time periods, it's my dad who I've looked at as an example in my pursuit of an American history. I also find it really funny, that for someone who could care less about puritans and colonial history for my entire childhood, I'm now going to school in COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG. Wut.

7. True - Ah, my imaginary family. I also had an imaginary cat. Luckily, this was all stopped once I got my guinea pig Fuzzball.

8. True - I only bled once, and that was because I cut myself. ON ME. The worst injury I ever got in karate, a horribly bruised foot (and a big toe that I can no longer bend) I got from tripping. ON MYSELF. I did more damage to me than anyone else, I think.

Oni is a princessprincess who got a bath yesterday, and I'm incredibly, terribly amused about America being out of the world cup. I think "evilly amused" would be a good way to put it.

Right. I work now. I make the monies.
